2025 Sauvignon Blanc
The Bardessono Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc is made from organically farmed grapes. This wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks then around 10- 8 brix or percent sugar the fermenting juice is transferred to neutral French oak barrels. This wine has hints of lemon-grass and gooseberry with a suggestion of melon, lime and grapefruit. Floral aromas, crisp and dry this wine has only 13.2 % alcohol and is reminiscent of the best Sauvignon Blanc from the Yountville and Napa Valley Appellation. Tom Bardessono
The Yountville viticultural area is one of Napa Valley's coolest climate which helps contribute to its long growing season. This AVA is particularly known for its Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc wines. Located entirely within the Napa Valley appellation of which 3,500 acres (1,416 ha) were cultivated at the outset of settling the region. The viticultural area was determined by extending the wine growing area from around the town of Yountville until it abuts the previously established viticultural areas of Oakville on the north, Stags Leap District on the east, and Mt. Veeder on the west. To the south is an area called Oak Knoll which was petitioned and designated a viticultural area in 2004. The town's founder Geprge C. Yount planted the first vineyard in the region around 1836.
