TASTING NOTES:
I farm a small vineyard in Yountville for my mother Maxine. There are no pesticides used in the vineyard. Sulfur dust is used for mildew control and organic fertilizer (cow manure) is tilled into the rows and a cover crop is planted annually.
The 2023 Bardessono Cabernet Sauvignon displays rich intensely classic aromas of herb, blackberry, vanilla, sweet wood, ripe dark fruit and hints of herb. Your palate will find enlivening acidity and finely grained tannins. Make with 50% French Oak and 50% Pennsylvania Oak this wine is balanced and delicious. This wine will age well for 20 years or more. Tom Bardessono
