The ricochet label is from my son Anthony's computer drawing when he was 4 years old and at that time he said it was his drawing of outer space. I have wanted to use this label for a long time so I decided to hold back some Cabernet Sauvignon that was aging in new oak barrels and blend it with some purchased Petite Sirah wine. The ricochet blend was a delectiful combination!  Anthony and I thought "ricochet" was a great name to describe his drawing and I thought the name describes the movement of particles in space. This wine is not for sale to the public. I am only offering it to family and friends!  Please enjoy this wine with the people you love and the food you enjoy most.

2013 ricochet is hardy and dense, inky dark and purple in color that offers a hint of black pepper, blackberry, blueberry, spice, with lots of fruit.  This wine really pairs perfectly with a wide variety of big dishes. Meats, stews, braised and grilled meats are an excellent food and wine match for ricochet. Short ribs, hamburgers and barbecue of all types served with the ricochet red wine works as a food and wine pairing as well.
