Winemaking

The “JB” insignia on the front label comes from a ring belonging to my grandfather, John Bardessono. The copper foiling of the “JB” represents the fact that my grandfather purchased the land with money earned from work in a copper mine. The label colors are warm and inviting, which is a reflection of my family’s penchant to invite people, friends and family into their home and community. I chose a hemp string necktie to symbolize an “Italian” bottle style in recognition of my ethnic heritage and also to reflect that the wine is produced and farmed with earth-friendly practices.
